As part of the UZH Innovation Hub, the Digital Innovation Cluster promotes innovations related to the digitalisation of our society - this "Innovathon" focuses on the digitalisation of mobility and will take place on 14-15 September 2021 (lecture block) and 30 September - 2 October 2021 (Innovathon).
Application Deadline: 20 August 2021
The aim is to bring together as many students as possible from different disciplines and to clarify questions relating to digital mobility in an "Innovathon" (incidentally derived from the term hackathon).
Due to the restrictive measures adopted by several countries in response to the spreading of the COVID-19 pandemic, the traditional International 'Summer School on Banking and Capital Markets Law' will not take place in Milan and Lake Como as in previous years. However, the Summer School will take place in a virtual setting. We firmly believe that, today more than ever before, the university has a duty to disseminate knowledge and foster dialogue between academics, students, practitioners and supervisory authorities and to offer the opportunity to understand the impact of COVID-19 on the banking and financial system.
With this aim in mind, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and the other organising institutions, including the University of Zurich, will be hosting a virtual Summer School, where PhD students, post-docs, junior faculty, and early-career professionals will be able to register for the summer school by completing an application form to join the programme. This will allow you to take part in a virtual class and to listen to lectures and attend live roundtables that will take place in July (specific dates tba). Fees will be announced shortly.
PhD students will have the chance of receiving 6 ECTS credits for their participation in the Summer School. Contact Professor Kern Alexander (lst.alexander@rwi.uzh.ch) or Dr Anne Schneuwly (anne.schneuwly@rwi.uzh.ch) for details.
