Kern Alexander's mother, Dr Ruth H Alexander, died aged 83 on April 21, 2021 in Gainesville, Florida.  Dr Alexander was an iconic leader for equal rights for women in education and sports during her 36 year career as Distinguished Service Professor and Women's Athletic Director at the University of Florida. Kern Alexander will present a paper on corporate law and sex discrimination at a conference held in her honor at the University of Florida in the spring of 2022.
