On 28-29 May 2019, Prof Kern Alexander and Dr Xenia Karametaxas attended the R20 Austrian World Summit 2019 in Vienna.

Prof. Alexander spoke on Sustainable Finance during the Breakout Session on Blended Finance.

Prominent figures at the Summit included Greta Thunberg, the teenage climate activist, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, the director of the USC in California, and founder of R20 Regions of Climate Action in 2010, in cooperation with the United Nations.
