The BASIS study library is situated on the 6th floor of the Law Institute Library, in the side wing with the long line of windows (Zürichberg side). Please see the overview in:
It serves as a study library and therefore holds only study and examination materials (latest editions only) for the various subject areas.
All books in the study library can also be found in the relevant subject areas in the main library, although normally in smaller numbers.
The BASIS library contains mainly Swiss law and used to carry its own classification system. However, the call numbers will be adjusted to those of the rest of the library and this work in progress will be concluded at the end of 2018.
