Accessibility for the disabled
Two parking spaces for people with disabilities are located near the entrance to the library. A ramp with a maximum slope of 6.5% leads to the entrance.
The entrance / exit doors are opened manually. The doors on the far right from the outside is intended for visitors with mobility or visual impairments and can be opened automatically from the inside and outside with a button. Caution: Doors swing outwards!
When in need of assistance please call the library reception staff, phone no: 044 634 30 99.
The floors 1 to 6 are accessible by lift. To gain access to the Compactus in the basement and the reference floor with the latest issues of print periodicals, please turn to the reception staff.
There are no thresholds in the building.
A disability adapted toilet with Eurokey is located on the 6th floor opposite the copy machine room. Further Eurokey toilets are on floor F, G and H in the historic building that encompasses the library.
