Due to the restrictive measures adopted by several countries in response to the spreading of the COVID-19 pandemic, the traditional International 'Summer School on Banking and Capital Markets Law' will not take place in Milan and Lake Como as in previous years. However, the Summer School will take place in a virtual setting. We firmly believe that, today more than ever before, the university has a duty to disseminate knowledge and foster dialogue between academics, students, practitioners and supervisory authorities and to offer the opportunity to understand the impact of COVID-19 on the banking and financial system.
With this aim in mind, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and the other oragnising institutions, including the University of Zurich, have decided that this year's online summer school will be free of charge.
Without paying any fee, PhD students, post-docs, junior faculty, and early-career professionals will be able to register for the summer school by completing an application form to join the programme. This will allow you to take part in a virtual class and to listen to lectures and attend live roundtables that will take place in the second half of July 2020.
