Proseminar Strafrecht
Strafurteile richtig analysieren, einordnen und kritisieren
The first lesson on 16 September will take place for all groups together at 12:15 in room KOL-G-209. You will receive the documents for this lesson at the start of the lecture.
Content: In the criminal law proseminars you will practise writing a judgement review. At the same time, as part of a peer review, you will learn how to criticise the academic criticism of a judgement. To this end, you will be introduced to the basics of judgement editing, judgement review and peer review. You will then discuss selected judgements in small groups before writing a first draft of your judgement review. This draft will then be criticised by your peers, just as you will comment on other reviews. You will then be given time to take on board your peer's feedback and finalise your judgement reviews.
Proof of performance: The proof of performance (pass/fail) results from a short presentation of the judgement sent to you and participation in the discussion of other judgements (15 %), your peer review (15 %) and your judgement discussion as a proseminar paper (70 %).
Enrolment: Enrolment for the proseminar group takes place via the module booking tool (registration window 14.8.-3.9.2024). Allocation will be made by 15.9.2024 at the latest.
Further information and documents: We use OLAT. There you will find information on the procedure and any documents for the lessons, probably from the second week of the semester. If you have problems with OLAT access, please contact the Chair of Professor Zurkinden.
