Who is Affected?

The transitional regulations apply to students who started Law as a Minor, 30 ECTS Credits, before Fall Semester 2021, but who have not completed it or been permanently excluded. Starting in Fall Semester 2021, students will be transferred to the study program Law as a Minor, 30 ECTS Credits, based on the new regulations. The previous modules will then no longer be offered if they are not continued in the new degree program.

What Needs to be Kept in Mind?

Bachelor’s degree modules that were completed successfully before the changeover will be credited toward the revised study program Law as a Minor, 30 ECTS Credits, on the basis of the number of ECTS credits received in accordance with the provisions of the old program regulations. 30 ECTS credits are required for the degree.

To make the transition to the study program Law as a Minor, 30 ECTS Credits, as smooth as possible, students will largely be able to choose their modules (Faculty of Law Bachelor’s degree module range). The minor will be completed in accordance with the new regulations.

Failed attempts taken up to and including Spring Semester 2021 will not be taken into account, provided that they have not already led to student’s exclusion from the degree program.
