Comparative Private Law (MLaw)
In autumn semester 2025, the course "Comparative Private Law" will be offered.
This course will introduce students to contemporary concepts and methods of comparative law. It will illustrate the functions of comparative law by examples taken from various systems of law as well as sources of uniform law. There will be different lecturers during the course, speaking about varying topics and subjects related to Private Law. Prof. Dr. Johannes Liebrecht will give three lectures on this course (11.11.2025, 18.11.2025, 25.11.2025) An additional lecture will take place on 25.11. from 4:15-6:00 pm.
The lecture will take place in person. In addition, the lectures will be recorded as a podcast, which will be published shortly after each session. Please note that it is not advisable to rely solely on podcasts, as technical disruptions may occur.
All materials (powerpoint slides, further reading) will be published on OLAT in due course.
