Master's Thesis
It is possible to write a Master's thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alonso outside of a seminar. In addition to the written thesis, students are required to give a presentation at the chair’s colloquium. If you are interested, please apply using the application form below or contact the chair in person. For Master's theses conducted within a seminar, please use the faculty's registration tool.
Since HS21, Master's students at UZH can only write a single Master's thesis worth 12 ECTS credits. Please refer to the FAQs on the RWF study reform 2021. For further organisational questions, please contact the Student Advisory Service. The Master's thesis can still be written both within and outside of a seminar.
If Prof. Dr. Alonso decides to supervise your Master's thesis, the general conditions will be recorded in writing using the "Master's agreement" form (please note the guidelines in the table below).
