In Spring Semester 2024, Prof. Liebrecht offers the course "Modern Times: Legal History of Modern Europe". This course is aimed at students persuing a Master's Degree.
The course traces the historical development of liberal law from the French Revolution onwards in a comparative European context. The course gives space and opportunity for in-depth discussions of aspects and problems involved. Thereby, a precise reflection on texts and logical argumentation - crucial for legal practice - will be developed.
The course takes place each Tuesday, 08:00-09:45, on the City Campus (room: KOL-G-209).
The course can also be followed on podcast.
