Graduation

Please read the tile “Register for Graduation” located further below carefully. Many of your questions regarding the completion of your studies are already answered there.

Graduation Dates
Two graduation dates are available each semester. The second date is particularly intended for students whose credits from mobility stays are reported late. Dates and deadlines

View Degree Completion Status
After applying for graduation, you can check in the tile “Study Progress & Graduation” whether you have successfully completed your studies (see My Studies: Status of Studies: Course of studies successfully completed).
As soon as this status appears, you may submit your request for withdrawing from the University.
Please note that we do not issue written confirmations of successful degree completion.

Transferring to Another University
If you are planning to transfer to another university, you may inform us of the contact person at the receiving institution via the contact form (Graduation: Confirmations for a university change). We will send the required documents directly to the relevant university.

Delivery of Diplomas
Diplomas are sent by registered mail to the residential address stored in the student portal. Please ensure that your address in the student portal is up to date.
Address changes must be made no later than at the time of applying for graduation.
