General Information
Admission Requirements
You can apply for a Double Degree Master's Program at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zurich if your home university has a Double Degree Master's Agreement with the University of Zurich and has nominated you for the program.
Application Procedure
Step 1: Nomination by your Home Faculty
Candidates for the Double Degree Master's program must be nominated by their home faculty. The nomination process is governed by the requirements of your home faculty.
Nominations must be notified to the Student Center by the subject coordinators at your home faculty.
Step 2: Application and Matriculation at the University of Zurich
Candidates for the Double Degree Master's Programs must matriculate (enroll) at the University of Zurich in order to participate in the program:

Nominated students will receive information on which documents they need to submit from the coordinators at the Faculty of Law UZH. Kindly do not start the application until you have received instructions from the coordinators.
Application Period
The program offered by the Faculty of Law at the University of Zurich starts in fall semester only. The application deadline at the University of Zurich for fall semester ends on 30 April of each year.
Enrollment & Withdrawal from the University
Enrollment information will be provided once we have received the nomination from your home faculty.
We ask you to check your enrollment during the enrollment period from 15 to 30 November in the Student Portal. In the Student Portal, you can also request a change of your study program or withdrawal from the University.

The Alumni House offers 16 rooms (of which four are double rooms) for students from our partner universities who are enrolled in Double Degree Master's programs at the Faculty of Law at UZH.
