Analog zu den früheren Befragungen von 1989, 1992, 1996, 2000 und 2004/2005 werden schweizweit Personen zu allfälligen Opfererfahrungen befragt. Nebst Fragen zum Sicherheitsgefühl und der Einstellung zu Strafen stehen vor allem Fragen zu Diebstählen, Einbrüchen, Raub, Tätlichkeiten oder sexuellen Vorfällen im Zentrum. Ziel ist es, herauszufinden, wie viele Personen unter welchen Umständen von dem jeweiligen Delikt betroffen sind. Die Befragung wurde von gfs-zürich durchgeführt.

Ziel des Projekts ist die bessere Beurteilung des Rückfallrisikos von Straftätern. Dazu benutzt die Bewährungshilfe einen Fragebogen, der verschiedene Informationen (u.a. Alkoholsucht, Drogenabhängigkeit, Arbeitslosigkeit) über den Straftäter erhebt. Die daran anschliessenden Täterprogramme können dadurch auf den Straffälligen besser abgestimmt werden. Ob diese neue Befragungsmethode der bisherigen überlegen ist, wird anhand einer randomisierten Studie erfolgen.

One of the goals of the project is to provide a better understanding of the nature of crime against business and to examine the crime types at the national level. For this purpose, a national survey among premises of both financial and commercial sectors will be conducted. This project also aims to further contribute to the knowledge of predictors of business crime and that of a better strategy of prevention which can be taken to reduce crimes against businesses. Indeed, we expect our results to reveal the nature and extent of business crime in Switzerland and to be a step in the right direction in that it focuses on preventing, reducing business crime and indicationg some future directions for business crime research. It also goes without saying interventions to reduce the incidence of crime.

The project describes the policy that the national government pursue with regard to alcohol use among youth. It will give information about the following questions. Which national policies do the national governments pursue with regard to alcohol use among youth? Which programs and interventions are set out on the different risk factors (in families, schools and communities)? Which programs and interventions are set out on the individual behaviour of young people?
