PRINCIPLES OF REINSURANCE CONTRACT LAW (PRICL)

On 25 January 2023, the special ATILA Lecture on the Principles of Reinsurance Contract Law (PRICL) was showcased in a hybrid seminar, co-organised by the PRICL Project, European Law Institute and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), which hosted the event at its headquarters in Rome.

COVID-19 has caused a whole variety of reinsurance arbitration. In these proceedings, the PRICL are considered even though they are not applicable to the underlying contracts.
