Transnational Organised Crime - The UN Perspective

No of Students: The course is limited to 24 Bachelor students.

Please note: Interested students should email their expression of interest to andreas.schloenhardt@univie.ac.at no later than 1 October 2020. Students will then receive additional course information, including the assessment methods and an enrolment and selection form by return email. This form must be completed and returned by email to andreas.schloenhardt@univie.ac.atno later than 2 October 2020 9am. Participants will be selected on 2 October and informed about their enrolment on the same dayA first meeting for this course will be held on 5 October 2020 between 10:15 and 11:00am. Students must present their Legi upon entry. Only studentsexpressly invited to this meeting will be admitted. It is mandatory to cover your mouth and nose during this session and to keep at least 1.5-meter distance from other persons.

Course material: All course material will be provided to participants online (OLAT) no later than four weeks prior to the main teaching days.

Type of assessment: active participation (25% of total grade), short paper (75%).

Covered topics: Organised Crime, Drug trafficking, Trafficking in Persons,       Smuggling of Migrants.
