Interview Marion Revel

Dr. Marion Revel is an environmental toxicologist, researching at the eawag (Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology) at the Department of Environmental Toxicology. While she and the team (under the direction of Prof. Dr. Kristin Shirmer) are developing the "fish invitrome,” a modular, computational framework that integrates various fish cell line-based modules to predict chemical toxicity, Dr. Revel is focusing on the establishing part: How to establish the new methods after having developed them. For this aim she tries to find out how to enable faster regulatory uptake of the developed framework and collaborates with social scientists and different stakeholders.
