Master / Bachelor Thesis

The master thesis is to be written in English.

Upon individual agreement with Prof. Alexander, it is possible to write the Master's Thesis at our chair in English.

Please note the deadlines to have a thesis counted for a specific semester. These are subject to slight change according to the date of the seminar. Please see Seminar for more details.

• Autumn semester: 1 November or before the seminar (if offered) - please refer to Semester Planning
• Spring semester: 20 April or before the seminar (if offered) - please refer to Semester Planning

Prof. Alexander does not accept Master's thesis candidates outside of seminars in the Spring Semester.

Requirements: Master and Bachelor Thesis from HS2021 onward (PDF, 223 KB)

Please note that from Autumn Semester 2021 onwards, Master's students will only write one Master's thesis, which will be comprised of 12 ECTS.
